The seven Highly Cited Researchers recognised for contributing to human ingenuity are: Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Max Lu, , Professor Prashant Kumar, Dr Jian Liu, Professor Iis Tussyadiah Professor Annabelle Gawer and Dr Wei Zhang.

The award demonstrates their significant and broad influence in their field - reflected by the publication of multiple papers “highly cited” by their peers in the academic community in the past decade. The papers produced by the seven �鶹��Ƶ scholars rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science™ citation index over the past decade.

The research areas covered by the �鶹��Ƶ seven Highly Cited Researchers includes: human gut microorganisms, air quality, chemical engineering, electrochemical nanoparticles, digital economy, privacy concerns and biometric data, as well as solar cell energy.
