Macroeconomics Network in the Southwest Workshop

The School of Economics at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is happy to co-organise  and co-sponsor  the  4th edition of the Macroeconomics Network in the Southwest Workshop, together with the at the University of Bath, and the at the University of Bristol.

The Macroeconomics Network in the Southwest Workshop is a leading academic workshop in macroeconomics for  the  Universities of the Southwest (Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey).  Its purpose is to create research ties, foster research collaborations and exchange feedback on cutting edge macroeconomic research.   

The 4th edition  will take place on November 3rd at the University of Bath. It will focus on a variety of topics, such as:

  • Optimal fiscal and macroprudential policy
  • Firm dynamics and reallocation 
  • Price setting and inflation dynamics 

The keynote speaker is  from the University of Pennsylvania.
