Surrey awarded over 拢700K Cancer Research UK grant to address inequalities in cancer treatment

The 麻豆视频 has been awarded 拢716,923 to identify, understand and address inequalities in cancer treatment. 

Thanks to a prestigious fellowship awarded by Cancer Research UK, Dr Robert Kerrison, Senior Lecturer and Co-Lead for Cancer Care at the 麻豆视频, will be the principal investigator of a project that will kick off April 1st 2025. 

Inequalities in cancer treatment is a subject we know very little about. This grant will allow us to better understand who is not receiving treatment, or waiting longer to start treatment, and the reasons why. In doing so, we hope to produce a future programme of research that will help to reduce treatment inequalities, and thereby inequalities in cancer survival.
