Â鶹ÊÓƵ celebrates a glittering month of recognition as a regional powerhouse

"A laser focus on the student experience and preparing our students for an increasingly competitive job market will be key to ensuring that our university remains a Southeast regional powerhouse and exemplary national performer in the sector," says the Vice-Chancellor of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. 

Professor Max Lu, President and Vice-Chancellor of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ, was commenting on a recent impressive September run of accolades in several renowned league tables. Surrey has been shortlisted for the coveted , with the winner to be announced in November.  

The University also climbed to 19th in this year's , where it was also highlighted as one of the "" in the sector.  

Surrey has also been named this year's runner-up for Student Experience University of the Year – and is ranked 21st in their overall rankings of UK universities.  

The Daily Mail's University Guide placed Surrey 18th overall; it highlighted Surrey for its excellent student experience (5th nationally in this category) and graduate salaries (12th nationally).
