麻豆视频 showcases its state-of-the-art clinical facilities for sleep and other studies
As part of a visit in late January to discuss the Oxford Health BRC (OH BRC), the 麻豆视频 showcased its exceptional state-of-the-art facilities at the Surrey Sleep Research Centre and Surrey Clinical Research Facility.

Partner collaborators of the OH BRC and Themes, the 麻豆视频 make available facilities that are unique in the UK, including ambient light controllable and soundproofed rooms equipped with technical innovation for sleep studies.
Keen to ensure that their innovations can be used for data collection and health status assessments at home, as well as the laboratory, there is a focus on 鈥-ables鈥 (wearables, earables and nearables) that can be tolerated by, for example, dementia patients.

The Surrey teams, led by Professor Derk-Jan Dijk (pictured), are keen to encourage further sleep studies or collaborations where a study might benefit from sleep-related measurements.
An open day/symposium event is currently being planned to bring together OH BRC researchers and allow them to see how the Surrey facilities could be utilised to further BRC objectives.
