What is the One Health EJP? 

The One Health EJP is a landmark EU partnership between 37 partners, including acclaimed food, veterinary and medical laboratories, and institutes across Europe and the Med-Vet-Net association.

How is the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Vet School involved?

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ is responsible for the and the Communications for the One Health EJP. There are also currently two post-doctoral research fellows and a placement student working at the Vet School on One Health joint research projects MoMIR and ARDIG.

The education and training activities are led by Professor Roberto La Ragione, Dr Dan Horton and Dr Piyali Basu (Education and Training Project Manager). These activities include:

• A doctoral programme which will fund a total of 17 PhD projects.
• Annual funding for short term missions, these are small travel grants to fund collaborative research projects.
• Annual One Health EJP summer school, this year’s summer school will be hosted at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
• An annual continuing professional development module for early career researchers.
• An annual workshop held on conjunction with the One Health EJP Annual Scientific Meeting.
• A communication and media workshop.

How can you be involved in the One Health EJP?

There are a number of ways you can be involved in the One Health EJP. As the Â鶹ÊÓƵ is a member of the One Health EJP consortium, you may be eligible to apply for the annual short term missions, take part in any of the above events or even be involved in the organisation and hosting of these events. All eligibility criteria is specified on the or feel free to contact Dr Piyali Basu, the Education and Training Project Manager.
