Biography
I joined Surrey Business School in 2015 and have since played an active role in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as in programme leadership. From 2020 until 2025, I served as the Director of Studies for Undergraduate Business programmes, contributing to curriculum development, student engagement, and academic quality. In addition, from 2020 until 2024, I was a member of the senior management team, working closely with colleagues to drive strategic initiatives that enhance the School’s undergraduate educational offerings. Over the years, I have contributed to shaping the student learning experience, ensuring that our undergraduate programmes remain innovative, relevant, and aligned with industry expectations.
As Associate Head of School with responsibility for Education, my primary focus is on delivering a transformational learning experience that empowers students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to thrive in the modern business landscape. I am dedicated to ensuring that our curriculum is both relevant and practical, equipping students with the critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills required to become ethical and employable business professionals. By fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment, my aim is to prepare our graduates to make a meaningful impact in their careers and communities.
I hold a PhD in Marketing from Strathclyde Business School in which I explored the impact of market and entrepreneurial orientation on business performance under the prism of adaptive marketing capabilities. I also hold an MSc in Marketing Management from Aston Business School. Meanwhile I am a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and a Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE).
