I am a Visiting Researcher role at Surrey and a member of the Environmental Psychology Research Group.

Alongside my role at Surrey, I am working as a senior research associate at the of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Switzerland.

Also, I have teaching engagements in the course at the Centre for Urban & Real Estate Management (CUREM) at the University of Zurich, and in the course at the Interior Architecture Department at the Lucerne University Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) in Switzerland.

Further, I am associated with the academic consultancy .

Before moving to Zurich, I have worked as an Industry researcher and Data Analyst at the workplace consultancy unit at AECOM in London from 2012 till 2017, with whom I am still engaged in collaborative research projects.

Before coming to the UK, I have worked in applied research at the Fraunhofer Institut –Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation where I was significantly involved in a project on innovation management in the hotel sector, called ; I am co-author of one the associated studies.

Before starting my PhD, I completed an MSc with Distinction in Environmental Psychology at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Further, I studied at the Technical University Berlin, where I completed an Engineering degree (EQ to BSc and MSc) in Architecture with Distinction.

In the course of my previous research, I have studied work place attachment and place identification processes in brutalist high-density housing (Barbican Estate, and Unité d`habitation Type Berlin) and evaluated occupational performance, well-being and socio-environmental stressors in different organisations and their office environments. My latest focus is on health in the built environment and concerns e.g., inclusive work environments for neurodiverse workers, users' well-being in inpatient mental healthcare facilities, or the impact of the pshycical and social environments at home on mental health (burnout) and physiological health (MSK pain) as of homeworking during the COVID-19 lockdown.
