My research project
Essays on fintech: cryptocurrencies and safe-haven assetsWith the increasing attention being given to various forms of FinTech, research has uncovered several aspects in this area that still require further examination. Cryptocurrencies, in particular, are a form of FinTech that has received considerable interest. This interest has been further increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Many interesting questions have arisen from previous research on this topic; however, the main interest of my project is to study cryptocurrencies and FinTech from the lens of sustainability and as an alternative source of finance.
