My research project
Emerging tick-borne viruses: Unravelling Infection Mechanisms in host and tick cellsMy project seeks to enhance our understanding of Crimean–Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV) infection, as well as its CL2 surrogate, Hazara virus, by employing systems biology and bioinformatics methods. The goal is to use this data to explore how these viruses cause disease in mammalian cells and persist in tick cells, ultimately leading to the development of new strategies to limit the spread of CCHFV.
