Dark States in Systems with Permanent DipolesI am currently studying how permanent dipoles affect the creation and accessibility of dark states when strongly coupled to a photonic environment. To do this, I am using the polaron transformation to allow for a Markovian treatment of the system. This research could help improve the efficiency of photo-voltaic devices.
