Cognition
The Cognition research stream is headed by Dr Paul Sowden, a reader in Creativity and Cognition and Head of the Department of Psychological Sciences in the School of Psychology.
Dr Sowden is the director of the ILLUME Creativity Research Lab at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ, which conducts research into the creative thinking process, how it is related to other cognitive processes and how it can be influenced.
Current projects
We are currently developing work to explore the impact of pre- and probiotic intake on human cognition.
