Overview

This project responds directly to the recommendations of participants and partners on Dr Fay’s recent Digital Tools for Wellbeing with Dementia (DoWell) user-requirement study: an on-demand tool for creative expression activities and all their proven health, wellbeing and cost-saving benefits. The answer: a co-created, dementia-friendly and human-in-the-loop AI creativity solution (CREATION) that helps people with dementia, their families, doctors and carers to lessen the impact of the disease by using the proven power of creativity to boost wellbeing, combat loneliness and thus slow disease progression and the related primary and secondary care needs and costs.

The project is supported by a £62,000  grant and runs from March to December 2025.
