External Teaching Facilities
In addition to using our new, specifically built, animal handing and clinical skills facilities, we continue to use some of our partner practices to help develop the students’ animal handling and husbandry skills.
These facilities include two partner practices ( and ), a Further Education Colleges () and Sheepdrove Organic Farm. These facilities offer the students additional access to horses, dairy cattle, beef cattle, sheep, rabbits and guinea pigs, and reptiles.
The RSCPA at and Lockwood will also be used for teaching and learning activities pertaining to animal husbandry and welfare.
